Specification of Galvanized Ground Rods
HOBB's Ground Rods are manufactured from Hot rolled Carbon steel core in accordance with ASTM A-36 (tensile range 58,000 to 80,000 psi). Zn coating is hot dipped galvanized in accordance with ASTM Specification A153-78.
Our Ground Rods are free of seams, silvers and other injurious defects. Rods ends are conically pointed at 60 deg. The other end is cut off square and chamfered to prevent mushrooming when driven into the ground

PACKAGING FOR GALVANIZED GROUND RODS
Rods are packaged in standard unit bundles strapped with narrow metal banding. Standard bundles are securely bound in steel strapped master bundles. Each master bundle will be tagged with size and length.
